New server.......again :)

Allways liked the idea about clustered machines.
Bought some Via Mini-Itx cards...why ? The answer is simple, atleast to me it
is. The price is ok (the most expensive part yet is the Cisco 2950, but the
plan is to replace it with 2 smaller switches:), nice power consumption, perfect
size (17x17cm), and no fan's to create noise.

The idea was to build something like this,
and a 'reallife' picture of the server now looks like this

Adsl on the countryside ;)

As everyone else I wanted Adsl,
but since your line length cant be more than 5km to the telephone central it couldn’t be done, they said (the length to me is 11km from the central).
This winter I (2003) I started thinking about making a long distance wireless link, and a lot of people started smiling when I told about my idea.
The idea was to find a nice person who lived somewhere where adsl was available, and that he's (or her's;-) house was visible from my house.
